Group Sales

Group Sales Overview

For groups of 10 or more, most performances offer a 10% discount.

There are no per-ticket service charges.

Dial group sales directly (919-996-8707) and receive personalized service from our knowledgeable group sales representative.

You will have an opportunity to review all seating options and confirm exact seat locations before any payment is due. The earlier you place your order, the better your seats.

Most of the time group seats can be held for up to three weeks at no obligation.

You never have to wait in line and you won’t have to “hold for the next available operator” to take your call. Your tickets are mailed to you within three days of payment or conveniently placed at Will Call under your name.

Ordering group tickets is easy. To get started follow the easy steps below:

  1. Contact the Group Sales Office
Speak with the Group Sales Office to get detailed information about the event you are interested in attending. Be sure to ask if any promotional materials are available for your event. We can also help you plan a reception or dinner at our facility to enhance your group outing. You may contact us at 919-996-8707 or
  2. Meet with your group
After speaking with your Group Sales Representative, meet with your group to determine how many people will attend and how they will pay you for their tickets.
  3. Reserve your seats
After your group has agreed upon the performance date, time, and desired seat locations, you are ready to reserve your seats. Contact your Group Sales Representative and place your seats on hold. An invoice will be sent to the group leader confirming your performance and seat information. Your group will have three weeks to pay for your tickets, no deposit is required but payment must be received in full by the due date. If your group reserves your seats less than three weeks prior to the event, your due date will be less than three weeks.
  4. Collect remaining money and submit payment
Collect any unpaid money from your group members and submit payment to the Group Sales Office. You may change the number of people in your group up until the payment is due.

The group sales policy details are provided to help answer any questions you may have about getting a group together.

Please contact the Group Sales Office 919-996-8707 or should you have any additional questions or need clarification on the below policy.

Group Minimums
For most shows, the group minimum is ten.  On some occasions, shows allow for smaller minimums in order to receive a group discount.

Group Pricing
Most performances allow groups to take advantage of a 10% group sales discount. Some performance times may not allow for group discounts, while some shows may allow for deeper discounts. Please check with your Group Sales Representative for exact pricing information.

Seating is reserved exclusively for groups. However, these seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you reserve your seats, the better they will be!

Changing the quantity of your order
Groups may change the amount of tickets ordered with no penalty as long as they do not drop below the minimum requirement for their performance.

Payment is due three weeks from the invoice date, unless the reservation is made within three weeks of the performance.  If groups are reserved within three weeks of the performance, payment will be due when reservations are made. One payment should be made for your entire group order. Checks, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express are accepted.

Refunds and exchanges
All sales are final.  Exchanges may be completed for a fee. Please contact your Group Sales Representative if you would like to exchange any tickets.

We participate with many area companies to offer employees discounted tickets. Current shows offering discounts are listed below.

Please select the performance you are interested in purchasing tickets for and you will then be prompted to enter your special discount code.

If your organization is not a part of our program or if you have not received your discount code, please reach out to your HR department or activities coordinator.

David Sedaris

An Evening with David Sedaris will feature all new stories and observations, along with an audience Q & A and book signing.  With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, Mr. Sedaris has become one of America’s preeminent humor writers. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today.

David Sedaris returns to the road following the release of his most deeply personal and darkly hilarious collection, Calypso. Sedaris sets his formidable powers of observation toward middle age and mortality. Make no mistake: these stories are very, very funny-it’s a book that can make you laugh ’til you snort, the way only family can. Sedaris’s powers of observation have never been sharper, and his ability to shock readers into laughter unparalleled. But much of the comedy here is born out of that vertiginous moment when your own body betrays you and you realize that the story of your life is made up of more past than future.

If you love David Sedaris’s cheerfully misanthropic stories, you might think you know what you’re getting into at his live readings. You’d be wrong. To see him read his own work on stage allows his autobiographical narrative to reveal a uniquely personal narrative that will keep you laughing throughout the evening. Don’t miss this event!

The Wailin' Jennys

By popular demand, PineCone favorites The Wailin’ Jennys return to Raleigh! One of today’s most respected folk groups, The Wailin’ Jennys are steeped in the artistry and elegance that has defined their career for more than 15 years. The Wailin’ Jennys are Nicky Mehta, Ruth Moody and Heather Masse - three distinct voices that together make an achingly perfect vocal sound.
Starting as a happy accident of solo singer/songwriters getting together for a one-time-only performance at a tiny guitar shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Wailin’ Jennys have grown over the years into one of today’s most beloved international folk acts. Founding members Moody and Mehta, along with New York-based Masse, continue to create some of the most exciting music on the folk-roots scene, stepping up their musical game with each critically lauded recording and thrilling audiences with their renowned live performances.
NPR wrote of their most recent Newport Folk Fest appearance, “The Wailin’ Jennys are more than just impeccable bluegrass harmonizers; they’re also terrific bandleaders who give their traditional roots music a sense of real reverence.” It’s this respect for their craft, as well as The Wailin’ Jennys heartfelt, impeccable vocal performances, that has cemented the trio’s reputation in folk and roots music circles.
