We are thrilled to bring back the world’s favorite opera, an irresistible tale of young love in Paris. A chance encounter brings the poet Rodolfo and seamstress Mimì together and they instantly fall in love. It’s like magic, but will their love survive when real life intervenes? Italian soprano Lucia Cesaroni debuts as Mimì with NCO favorite Keitaro Harada (Carmen and Pagliacci) conducting.

This performance has been postponed to the NC Opera 2021-22 season. The 2022 performance dates for La bohème will be finalized and announced at a later date. If you have already purchased tickets to La bohème, those will be will be good for the rescheduled performances.
