The Dream Lives...For the first time in our 30-year history, North Carolina Theatre is thrilled to bring to the stage our own production of the epic musical, Les Misérables.  Fresh off the recent film adaptation that won multiple Academy Awards, the show that first hit the stage in 1985 is as popular, and as powerful, as ever.  With sensational music and a heart- wrenching love story, this adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic novel continues to soar as one of the most popular stage productions of all time. The new 25th Anniversary production is a West End hit heading for the Broadway stage, but you don't have to go to New York to experience this incredible musical phenomenon!
Les Misérables will star Raleigh's own Lauren Kennedy as "Fantine", in a reprisal of the role she played on Broadway, alongside her real-life daughter Riley Campbell, making her NC Theatre debut as "Young Cosette." Also starring Broadway Les Mis veterans Craig Schulman as "Jean Valjean" and Chuck Wagner as "Javert", you don't want to miss this all-star production!
